Red Cross Pharmacy Promotes Justin May To Director Of Pharmacy

Marshall, Mo. - December 18, 2009 - Red Cross Pharmacy, Inc. is pleased to announce the promotion of Justin May to the position of Director of Pharmacy effective January 1, 2010.   His new responsibilities will include staffing and scheduling pharmacists and overseeing pharmacy technician staffing and training needs.  He will also continue to be in charge of the Medication Therapy Management (MTM) programs and heading the immunization and wellness programs as well.  May will be working closely with the pharmacy managers to make sure their clinical and staffing needs are met at the store level.

"Having Justin as Director of Pharmacy will better equip us with the framework needed to take our business to the next level," said Scott Hartwig, co-President/CEO.  "With our intention to identify future business opportunities and expand in other markets, Justin will significantly assist us in these efforts."

May joined the company in 2007 when he was hired as a Pharmacy Services Manager and staff pharmacist in Marshall.  He graduated from the University Missouri Kansas City School of Pharmacy with a Doctor of Pharmacy in 2001.  Prior to joining Red Cross, May worked for a multi location retail pharmacy group in Sedalia, Missouri.  His knowledge of the industry, exceptional work ethic and customer focus shall serve him well with this new opportunity.

"Justin brings unique talents to our organization. He has served in the U.S. Public Health Service's Commissioned Corp. in Alaska, worked for a large national chain and has managed an independent retail pharmacy. These have given him a special blend of experience in patient care and we are blessed to have him on our team in this position," said Matt Hartwig, co-President/CEO.
